More Than Human

Bible Study Leader
Shelby Honeycutt

About

Learning to live a Spirit-led life in a very human world

We’re fully human—with emotions, reactions, desires, wounds, limitations—but we're also indwelt by the Spirit of God. So, the question becomes: What does it actually look like to live as someone who has the Holy Spirit, rather than simply believe in Him? We are having a very human experience, but we were never meant to live it with human resources alone. The Holy Spirit doesn't erase our humanity—He teaches us how to steward it.

Week 1 — More Than Human - You were never meant to do this life in your own strength.
Who the Holy Spirit is—not an “it,” an emotion, a church experience, or something reserved for certain Christians. He is a person, and He is God's gift to us.

Week 2 — LED - Something is always leading you.
Feelings are real, but they don't have to lead. Fear can lead. Offense can lead. Ego can lead. Trauma can lead. Appetite can lead. Culture can lead. Or the Spirit can lead. Spiritual maturity isn't pretending you don't have emotions. It's being aware enough to recognize them, wise enough to understand them, and surrendered enough that they don't get to lead you. What does Spirit-led emotional maturity actually look like?

Week 3 — Holy Still Matters - Grace didn't make holiness irrelevant.
Holiness does not equal legalism. The Holy Spirit isn't merely here to comfort and empower us—He makes us holy. Conviction is a gift. Obedience matters. What we tolerate matters. What we consume matters. How we live matters—not to earn God's love, but because we belong to Him. Otherwise, the Holy Spirit can unintentionally become all presence, power, hearing, gifts without addressing transformation.

Week 4 — Are You Listening? - God speaks. Are we learning to recognize His voice?
How the Spirit speaks, Scripture and His voice, discernment versus emotion, conviction versus condemnation, prompting, peace, wisdom, testing what we hear, and learning His voice through relationship.

Week 5 — More - Don't settle for a life you can live without Him.
Bring empowerment into the culmination: gifts, boldness, power, surrender, obedience, purpose, and dependence. The goal isn't a five-week study about the Holy Spirit. It's leaving determined to live differently with the Holy Spirit.

Faith and Confession

Bible Study Leader
Lindsay Getz

About

Faith and Confession Bible Study

This women’s Bible study explores the powerful connection between faith and confession—how what we believe in our hearts and say with our mouths can shape how we walk with God. Together, we will examine Scripture’s teaching on trusting God, declaring His truth, and allowing our words to reflect genuine faith rather than fear, doubt, or circumstances.

Through biblical teaching, discussion, prayer, and personal reflection, ladies will consider what it means to confess God’s truth, stand on His promises, and live by faith even when circumstances are difficult.

  • • How does the law of faith work?

  • • Can we really receive God’s provision?

  • • What is the difference between confession and a lie?

  • • What does a life of faith look like in our families, relationships, work, and everyday challenges?

  • • Can I actually have what I say when I combine faith with my spoken words?

The goal of this study is not simply to learn what to say, but to grow in what we believe. As women seek God through His Word, we will learn to align our hearts and words with His character and truth, developing a faith that is authentic, courageous, and rooted in Scripture. Real faith will feed you and strengthen you.

Grit Don’t Quit

Bible Study Leader
DeeAnn Sierra

About

Are you tired of being knocked down but not getting back up?

The Bible talks a lot about grit, but it doesn’t exactly use the word. Scripture uses terms like perseverance and endurance to describe doing difficult things and having the determination to keep moving despite challenges and weariness. But grit is just a little bit something extra, right? The grittiest character in the Bible was the Apostle Paul, known for getting back up and keeping going no matter what, because Paul was not his sole focus.

In this five-week video Bible study, Bible teacher and preacher Bianca Olthoff dives into the stories of Paul and others who have come before us to show how they overcame the same life circumstances we struggle with today. You will learn how to keep going—that it’s never by your own strength and it’s always for God’s glory that you get back up.

Let’s get honest, vulnerable, and brave all at once. Let’s stop letting life take us out and let’s start living for something greater!
